G'day from Melb Australia. I have only just joined your forum and am looking to put some effort into my 1989 B10, x-nottingham sytner car. I have had it 5 years and love it as a daily driver , but its time to keep my passion alive with some tuning and any advice on where to start would be great. She is not the bi-turbo and I wondered whether that was possible or advisable. Overall she purrs and flys , I will post some pics this week. Silver auto: alpina dials, wheels, spoiler , badges etc...
Shes done 160 miles and never had the head off . Always garaged and well maintained by mad specialist down hear. Over to you guys.

oh ps: theres only one other sytner car here that Ive seen and its for sale for about 25k AUD, excellent condition , metallic blue, ...

thanks in advance !:wroom:

Hi Mate

What colour is your car?

I saw a Blue one for sale in Sydney last year when I was there. I was surprised to see an Alpina there to be honest.

I wonder if its the same car.

As for giving it more oomph your a bit limited. I know how strict they are over there about speeding. You could try changing the diff to lower final drive. I did that to a 535i I had a number of years ago, and it made a big difference to the acceleration. I fitted a stainless steel exhaust but Alpina have the exhausts cracked so changing it will not give you anything extra, if anything it will decrease the power.
Try looking on Some of the e34 boards you'll get some help there.

Enjoy the car its fantastic machine.

Cheers:cheers:

stick a single turbo on it or give it some nitrous that should help.

Maybe here; www.turbocalculator.com

I don't think its a good idea trying to make the b10 into a bi-turbo.

No joke. The engine internals in the BiTurbo were extensively reworked to be able to reliably handle the extra power.
