Specification is as follows:

2001 Bluewater
Interior is Black/Silverstone leather with metallic strips
Widescreen Satnav
Privacy Glass
BMW Warranty

It's done 65000 miles, and just had the clutch replaced.

I've got them down to £21750 - is this a good price?

Is it possible in the UK to give a dealer the VIN to get the service history?

I've bookmarked some checklists here:

Anything else i should look for when i go to inspect it before handing over my cash?

Thanks

Chris,

From my scanning of the prices recently, it seems OK.

I paid £20,950 for a Sept 99, Avus Blue, 60k miles in November 2004. That was from a BMW dealer. It has TV (no satnav), phone, angel eyes upgrade, the same leather as you and a few other extras-not to mention new pads/discs/tyres/Insp II. That came with the (so far bulletproof) BMW approved warranty. My car initially had a lot of garage time-resulting in new MAFS, engine mgt system, throttle body etc-all with the benefit of an X5 loan car FOC. Since these glitches have been sorted out, the car has run like an absolute dream and i have put on a further 17k miles-way more than I intended-but it is HUGE fun.

Good luck whatever your choice. Perhaps you will be able to extend the warranty in any case.
