My A/C turns on when i start the car automatically. I was told that the car will remember the last setting, that being in the "off" position, but it keeps coming back when i start the engine.

I find my car will remember to keep the a/c off if I restart it within a short period of time but if I leave it all day the a/c tries to come on when I push the start button. It's annoying but by now I assume it's not unusual.:confused2

Same happens to me. AC is always on its lowest setting when I start the car. Is there any way to fix this?
