There is a roadtest of the 3.0 engine in the 6 series. But why is it called 630I and not 630CI?

I think bmw decided this year that they will use the C only when the two body forms of the serie exists (like 3er sedan/Coupe: 320i/325Ci)). So because the 6 is allready a Coupe they drop the C.
But on the other hand, it stays 645Ci ?????? Maybe because they won't change the name because the 6 is only a year out.

Logical. But there were also the 850i (5.0V12), the 840Ci (V8) and the 850CSi (5.7V12). So I really don't understand.
