So I recently installed ECS 5 mm spacers on the rear of my 02 with Dinan Stage I Suspension, with stock wheels. I already had 15 mm on the front, with no issue. I'm getting a slight vibration at 70 - 75 MPH which seems to go away at around 80. I do a lot of highway driving. Re-balanced the wheels without improvement. I suspect that because the 5 mm does not have a integral hub centering lip, that the ability to exactly center the wheel on the hub is compromised. 10 mm spacers would negate that as they have the extended lip, and I suspect that they would fit.

Anyone encountered this or have any ideas? Thanks

I run cheapo eBay 5mm spacers in the rear without an issue.

There is however plenty of people who feel as if not having the hub centric ring will cause an issue. Search a little, you will find some threads.

This isn't directly answering your question, but I'm running 10mm hub-centric spacers on stock rear wheels and find them to just about perfectly fill out the stance with no rubbing. So if you want hub centric, I think it should work for you.
