One of 1,366 6-speed manual cars produced for the entire, global market, this 25,400 mile car is one of the lowest mileage examples remaining. Stellar maintenance (new Michelin PS4's and a recent inspection mending 100% of known issues), attractive upgrades (Dinan exhaust, updated iDrive), and stunning condition make this an attractive purchase collectors and enthusiasts alike.

We will be submitted to auction with a reserve of $55,000 but are first offering the car directly with offers over $55,000 considered.

Detailed photos, records, vehicle history, and comparable sales (dealers and auctions) are available upon request. Collector and enthusiast, not dealer owned.

Thanks all. TexaZ3, I'm likely selling the E34 too. That's one only side of the warehouse, but I'm out of room. I may sell my E46 and E38 too. The E39 is definitely a "never sell" but I'm still on the fence about the 1M. We'll see.

Hope you get something close to that number. I have a low mileage SMG car and I imagine one day will pull a number like this. Not sure these cars are there yet, but let's see your auction. Looking forward to it.

Correct.

But lets not see auction and sell it to a board member than fight for it at the auction.

I know some folks will bite their finger and never make an offer now but than overpay at the auction.

Cool thing is it might be underpriced. Never know what bat or other auction to throw at you.

So jump in while you can.

I own 6MT e63 m6 1/1 in the world as well as dinan s2 m5 e39

And honestly I don't want to give up none of them lol

M5’s and m6’s manual will be worth more than e39’s cause they preserve better.

Less metal more aluminium and plastic.

Anyways GLWS

I would keep e39 and e60 and sell the rest lol

I'm unhappy about the bumper cover fitment after seeing the photos. We're taking that back into the shop for correction next week. Then we're getting an undercarriage detail and photos. That will be uploaded and given a few weeks. If not sold, then we'll be going to BAT. If not sold there, I'll keep it and enjoy it. The more I do to the car, the more I like it. I'm tempted to use it as a daily, but that seems like a terrible idea given how clean it is...

Looking forward to seeing it on BAT if they accept your reserve number. I've seen better condition e63 6mt sell at no reserve for less money and half the mileage. But I'm looking for a good deal, not a pie in the sky. I'll watch that BAT auction to see if anyone else agrees with your valuation. GLWTA if BAT takes it.

Dennis, to clarify: BAT already set the reserve at $55,000. I prefer a higher number.

I'm not sure how something could be in better condition given that this car is virtually flawless, but I can tell you that the market seems to strongly favor the M5 to the ugly duckling cousin. Historically speaking too, even though the E24 is widely regarded as a handsome car, values for the E28 M5 have outpaced M6 values by some margin. For whatever reason, the market seems to prefer their larger bodied Bimmers with 4 doors when the option is presented.

Nah, you still have plenty of room. I'm on the other hand....none.
But, if you decide to let go of your E34M - ping me. :)

My opinion, I think it’s partly due to the e24m6 being a more flexy flexy GT and the e28m5 being lighter and more of a canyon carver.

Nonetheless, I hope you get your price — as a biased 6MT owner.
