Hey, I am putting my car up for sale as I will be getting my new BMW come January..

Here are the specs:

2000 M5 with 51k miles
dealer maintained with records
CPO warranty until June 2006 or 100k miles
New tires with 3500 miles
New clutch/differential/shift linkage replaced under warranty

Jet Black/Caramel luxury interior (wood trim, extended leather)
No scratches, dents, dings, etc

I would like to get $39,995 ($40k) for the car, but definitely open to all offers
No accidents or paintwork ever, very clear car!

Available to show the car or test drive anyone who wants to look at it.

If you don't mind, what did you end up getting for the beast?

the new owner can disclose the purchase price since he is a member on this board...

I don't know if he wanted to keep it confidential or not

No reason to keep it confidential, $38,700. Seems like a very fair price to me. I'll be flying to NY next week to complete the deal.
