Welcome to my for sale post. I am not on ease to sell M5 but it need to go since I am not multiple car person. I wanted to thank members of this forum that helped me diagnose and keep this car running with their great knowledge and kindness. I bought M5 in 2012 in LA. Car has passed smog without any issues around in 2015. Currently registered in Florida.
Here are basics:
2000 BMW M5 Avus Blue
175k miles
clean title & No accidents
WBSDE9346YBZ94765
asking $8,999

Work that has been done since owned it:
Soldered solenoids connections
Replaced entire driveshaft
Replaced all bushings on LSD
DME refurbished few month ago
Replaced 3 ignition coils
Spark plugs
Serpentine belt
AC belt
Brake pads
Front Rotors
One front wheel hub
Return high pressure oil hose (1 of 2)
Thermostat
Coolant sensor
Radiator and coolant hoses
Fuel Tank Breather Valve
Power steering hoses all been replaced
Brand New Fuel pump, Fuel relay and Fuel filter
Oil changes, oil filters where all done every 6k miles.


The car has few upgrades that were all installed by previous owner such as
AFE cone intake system (got stock ones too)
Custom exhaust cans
Superchip
Sink Drain mod
Headlight washer delete
18 LED - interior boards inside and courtesy lights
5 channel 1000watt Alpine Amp PDX-5
10" Pioneer sub and additional amp
Dynavin D99 7" Android head-unit with dvd, bluetooth, internet, navigation, usb, ipod, and TV capabilities.
Headlights and Taillights face-lifted from 01+
E60 short shift

Now the car is far from perfect condition but can get there with some love and attention
The few things that needs love:
Paint Job has faded
Few dents and little bent on the right under size (jack slipped)
Second high pressure oil hose replacement would stop small oil leak
Steering wheel would benefit from re-wrap
Tint
LSD bearing would need to be replaced due to signs of wear which I am willing to take care at my expense if car sells at my asking price

There are no issues with drivability and can be a great little project on the go. I still prefer daily M5 vs M3 Vf650 I got few weeks ago.. I am open to cash offers with reasonable wiggle room. Thank you

Long Story short: Mechanic took car for a spin and totaled it
Geico Covered everything

Thank you everyone for your knowledge and helping me keep running this M5
