I've searched the board before I made the plunge but my rear tires still rub on the inside. Here's my rear set-up

HRE P40 : 10.5" Offset 20
Pirelli P-Zero : 295/30/20

Everyone using the same rims use these size tires. Is it because I'm driving a E61?

Member Mpower77 ran these identical wheels on his lowered M5 with 305's and had no dubbing issues. So yes, I think it's an E61 issue.

E61s M5 have a 275 standard wheel size on the back, so 295 is probably too much.
What does the E60 have?

The E60 comes with 285/35/19 stock tires I believe. I'm running P40s as well but currently have 285/30/20 at the rears. I have a few thousand miles left on tread, will definitely go up 295/30/20 when I replace the rears, might even go 305, seems to me there is room.

I think E61 is the same

E61 comes with 275/35/19.
Both E60 and E61 have a 255/40/19 front wheel. That's just for clarification purposes. And I also think that the rim is 9" wide in the back, as opposed to 9.5" for the Sedan. These are the facts.

No wonder. Thanks for clarifying

Interesting that your rear P40s have an offset of ET20. They must be exactly for the wagon. My rear P40s are also 20 x 10.5, but with an ET28 offset.

That's what HRE claims. My only instructions was I want it flushed without using spacers.
