If only for EAR candy, can the runners be tuned to produce a high pitch intake sound without compromising performance? I wouldn't mind giving away 5 hp, 5 ft /pounds for a hair-raising sound.
Only for EYE candy, can the top be made clear transparent plastic?

Interesting though.

From my experience in participating in development of a few of these, the main variable to sound will be carbon thickness that is used. ABS of OE plenums are 5-6mm, carbon is usually around 1mm to 1.2mm depending on the section.


Transparent top is no go. The PCV would dirty this up in no time.

I will have some big updates soon on this guys.
