Hi fellas!

I've bought the new beast instead of crushed.
It has 19" BBS CH wheels with 275/35 tires on it. And the rear tires are to close to the body, but work perfect.

The Mishellin catalog declares 285/35 (if 19") tires for M5 e39. I am afraid to buy 285, think it is over wide....

What do you say? Does somebody ave the expirience of using 19" on M5?

285/30-19 will fit the 10inch wide wheel. 285/35-19 is too tall.

Shoot for ET20 or 25.

Hope this helps.

I have 19" BBS LMs. I run 285/30 19 in the back, 255/35 19 front. No problems and no spacers.

There's your answer

I was wondering the same thing

I have 19" BBS CH on my car with 245s in front and 275s in rear.

I want to go to a slightly wider rear tire because the 275s look stretched and have no rim protection whatsoever. My right rear tire always gets ^&%$^'d up when I parallel park and can't see the curb real well (like at night)

What kind of tires are you planning to use.

I have the Bridgestone S-05s and don't recommend them -- very very noisy

I was thinking of getting Michelins soon.

Right now I'm on my 18" Yokohama AVS Winter tires and they are soooooo quiet compared to the Bridgestones.

Like others have said... 35 series in the rear for 19" is too tall.

285/30-19 or 275/30-19 is fine.
although I think 275/30-19 is best as it is closest to circumference of original 275/35-18.

Agreed.

FWIW; 275 has a bit of a stretched look on a 10" wide wheel, where as 285 looks square and proper. Some also have slight rubbing with 285 while others do not.
