Do you have to remove the front bumper in order to change the headlight xenon bulbs? or can you just go from the engine bay or maybe even the fender flares??

I'm not sure. I can tell you it's extremely hard to get to bulbs from the hood. The space is without question the tightest in any engine bay I've ever seen. Getting to it via the wheel well seems easier but I had trouble getting the wheel off (in another thread) I thought the bulbs in the headlight though were sealed no?

I found it quite easy to just take the front bumper off. In about 10 mintues i had it off and then it was easy to get to the lights.

We've historically recommended removing the wheels and coming from the wheel well, a bit easier as there is a flap there for this purpose...at least it was there for the 06-07 cars, I hope they didn't change it.

I just bought 6k HID bulbs from www.khoalty.com, I would recommend you buying it from there. $40 SHIPPED to your door. Install is apparently really easy, just go through the panel in the fenders to gain access to the bulb
