Hey guys, im thinking about getting another car. My M6 is my daily driver and i want to get something else for special occasions )). I was first thinking about leasing 08 Turbo, but yesterday i went to a lambo dealer and they made me an offer on 04 Gallardo 5000 miles for 150,000 (but the problem is that i would have to buy the car open ended lease).

Personally i hated the lambo interior (looks like a tayota) , and turbo is such a fun car to drive.

Anyways what do you guys think

04 Gallardo 5000 miles for 150,000? For an Audi?

I wouldn't advise this bro. I mean ur paying a 150,000 for an Audi! Look at the dash! Same as an Audi, only difference is instead of the Audi logo on the steering wheel its Lambo's. Plus why would you pay that price and not get "Lambo Doors"? I thought thats why they have them, to put the on Lambo's! Btw, the M6 is much more classy and elegant for speacial occasions, and lastly you do know ur M6 is faster right?

Personally i like the lambo cos i personally think the lambo look sick.....04 gallardo is a bit old for me...i say if u gonna get the lambo gallardo go for the 06 and up. But if u r into performance then the 08 turbo is probably your choice or get either the superleggera or the LP 560 when it releases in a couple of months. I am thinking about getting the LP 560 myself. This car is as fast as the Ferrari Scudera....it can complete a quater mile in 11 secs flat....that's pretty sick.

Definitely the Turbo. Stay away from 'old' Lambos. You will regret it when you find out how expensive service and maintenance is, and I guarantee you'll need a lot of both. I recently paid north of 50K for engine rebuild on my 86 Countach and I had a friend who got hit with $90,000 engine work on his Murcielago (fortunately under warranty). So look out. There are other 'fun' cars less than 150K though. Depending on what you want, you could get a new Maserati Coupe, an Aston Vantage, Porsche Gt3, Lotus, not to mention more focused cars like a Viper ACR (very cool), heavily modded Z06, CLK63 Black, Lotus Exige, Audi R8. Any of these is less $$$ than a 4 year old Gallardo and would give you much less headache and have a warranty. I personally got a Katech modded Z06 (3000lbs/600+ HP). If you must have a Lambo, shop around you can probably get an early Gallardo cheaper. George Evans at Evans automotive in Ohio is arguably the country's authority when it comes to technical advise on lambos. A PPi is a must for any Lambo though. Good luck.

def get a turbo. Save that money and use it on something worthwhile like aftermarket wheels. I would pick up a ZR1 way before a lambo. I would get a new turbo over both. I said in a diff post I would only do bmw, Porsche, and gm products for cars and trucks.

are you looking for something fun to drive and performance (Porsche) or bling factor (Lambo)
I agree with the above...Lambo is gonna be a money pit

Thanks guys, i think i am swinging towards the 08 turbo because i dont like used cars and 04 Lambo interior just looks like crap. The thing is that i already have the M6 as a performance car so i wanted something Bling )))

The payment on Turbo comes about 2300 with around 5k down

P.S. An open ended lease means that you would have to buy the car afterwards or resel it.

Uhhhh....GTR is around 80K and I would certainly think it has very little Bling factor....
for Bling....go with the Bentley Continental....mmmmmmmmm:eek:oohhh:

What year was the murcielago nigel? I know if it is old then it will be lots of problems that's why i tend to go with newer lambo. What do u think about the LP 560?? I am freaking in love with that car...waiting anxiously for it to come out.lovelovelovelove

You can get an '07 Aston Martin Vantage for around $90K and a brand new one for about $110K.

Exotic look? - how about an R8?
