Just posting some numbers from the 0-400-0 record run (distance is calculated) ..
km/h
0-100 in 4.1 s, 60 m
0-200 in 8.0 s, 225 m
0-300 in 13.3 s, 601 m
0-400 in 26.88 s, 1958 m
mph
0-100 in 6.4 s, 144 m
0-150 in 9.7 s, 329 m
0-200 in 14.9 s, 739 m
0-250 in 27.5 s, 2028 m
distance
1/4 mile ~10,75 @ 161 mph (259 km/h)
1 km ~17.7 s, @ 346km/h (215 mph)
1 mile ~23,7 s, @ 240 mph (387 km/h)

Not the best surface for this (obvious if you check the 0-100 time), but good enough. Matt asked why they didn't start in 2nd .. anyone know? Seems it could have cut the time to sub 37 .. and why not CF wheels?

Used two hours to collect data from the Bugatti video today and make some graphs, seems totally waste of time. Ether I made it very wrong or the data in the video is totally made up. What I got was a s/t-graph with only a few "dots" connected with straight lines .. can someone verify? This makes me think even the distances in Bugattis press release might be wrong? Can someone confirm or help me understan what I do wrong?

Since analyzing the data in Bugatti's 0-400-0 video gave absolutely nothing useful, just bogus data streaming.

Also noticed that it's not even filming from the same run (sometimes the sun cast a shadow on drivers side, sometimes at the passenger side and sometimes no shadow at all). So probably useless to analyse the video material in this one.

Next viedeo up to check for useful data was this "0-400 run":
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZmeGnSmFqQ
Data supplied is the same kind of made up "counter" making lines between a few points (not how real acceleration data looks). Tomorrows task will be to use the lines on the road to measure distance start to start of a new withe line is 18 m and the lines are 9 meters long, wheelbase of the Chiron is 2,7m, there is also markers at the side of the road for every 100 m. As the timer I'll use the fact that the video is filmed in 25 fps and each frame represents 0.4 s, but I don't have much hope for this to give any good data as it seems these Bugatti videos are just pure made up PR-BS, and analyzing them so far have been several hours of wasted time ..

I imagine they didn't use carbon wheels on the 0-400-0 run because it was so last minute. It also seems like they avoid putting on the carbon wheels pre-delivery.

Excited to see how fast they go today!

Edit: Word on the street is that they went for the 0-400-0 record again today and did it in 33.1s this time! Incredible!
