**Referred to as a wishbone, should be replaced in pairs** Control arms are a common wear item on most vehicles and your BMW is no exception. Worn control arms cause a variety of undesirable performance issues as well as alignment problems. Generally speaking, if the inner bushing has developed play or if the outer ball joint boot has torn the control arm will need to be replaced.

      600 is not crazy. All 4 arms at list is more than that. The diy crowd ( me ) can source lemforder for about 200 a side, so it is more than that, but the quality and adjustment is tempting. I'm at stock levels now, but future plans are a bit more aggressive.

      Sorry guys, Lemforder parts are not more expensive.....

      $600 is retarded. Maybe I should revisit making them myself. Besides, how do we know the bushing and rod ends are of a high enough quality? Unproven....... I'm not trying to be a hater, I'm just trying to be the voice of reason.
