As quick as I posted this, I have almost talked myself out of it over the past few hours. My decsion is solely base on not wanting to keep the X5 for that many years, unlike the M5. So I will be leasing a new X5 instead.
This will allow me to stay with the plan of picking up a GT3 sooner.

The new X5 has the I drive system which is kind of nice once you figure it all out. I would definitely recommend the 20 inch sport wheels, they look great on the truck compared to the standard wheels. Also comfort access, running boards, sat radio, sport premium package. If your into navigation thats an option. Third row seat is an option. I got everything except the heated seats, navigation, third row seats. Came out to 66 and change.

How is the ride quality with the 20 inch wheels?
I always felt the 3rd row seats in mid size SUVs are a pain to use.

I've got a local friend who will be selling a black 996 GT3 in a few months. He's trying to get a 997 GT3-RS.

I've got a local friend who will be selling a black 996 GT3 in a few months. He's trying to get a 997 GT3-RS.
I did, I picked up an 04 4.8is. The car is a monster for an SUV. I am getting used to the power and thinking it will be difficult to ever get a car that would have a little less performance for daily driving.
There is a silver/ orange GT3-RS at Autogallery in the valley right now, does he want that combo?
