Hello and new to be X5 owner

      Hello All,

I've noticed this forum just by chance as I was clicking around the main forums. It's tucked away. I also think, it deserves a line on the main menu.

It's interesting to see it now because, we've just ordered a new X5 3.0d for my wife last Saturday. It will have the new 218 hp engine and has identical accelaration and top speed with the petrol version but lots off Torque (500 Nm I think) It will be sterling grey with black walknappa interior and comfort seats. It will probably be delivered in March. We both look forward to it. It was time to replace our ageing Jeep Grand Cherokee which served us well many years.

Hope to have interesting and informative discussions on this forum as well...

      Regards,

      Ufuk
