WTB '06 X5 4.8is

Hey guys, a forum newbie here looking to get back into a BMW. I've owned a 320i, 535is, M5, and a 540i. My lease is up on an '06 Range Rover Sport and I want to get a 2006 X5 4.8is in Silver under 40k miles. I've been looking in all the usual places but have you heard of anything available?

Antony

Are you willing to ship the car?

I just did a nationwide search on cars.com for '06 x5s and there are a lot of 4.8 listings, and just glancing at the first page quickly, I saw a handful with under 30K miles. What's your price range?

Yes I looked there too. I was planning on shipping it. I think $35,000.00 is reasonable. Edmunds says $33,000 for private and $36,000 for dealer retail. Some dealers are asking over $40k (crazy) for a CPO'd one.

Yeah 40K is waaay too much for that car. Mid to low 30s would be great. It is such a sharp car. Personally, I think it is just as good, if not better looking than the e70.

Cars.com is the only option i can think of, unless you have connections with a dealer and can have him/her keep an eye out in an auction or something.

How about $44,500 for one with 34k miles! Are these dealers high? Jeez, you can get a 2007 e70 for that!
