Looking at X5 Diesel

Hey guys,

I am looking to swap out my 335xi for a X5 Diesel. After some searching still looking for the following answers:
  • What is the engine code for the diesel engine?
  • Are there any tuners for this engine yet?
Thanks!

Wikipedia says that it uses the BMW M57TU2D30 engine. I haven't heard of any US tuners that offer anything for the diesel yet.

Take a look at this:
Herbert HARTGE GmbH & Co. KG - Tuning für Ihren BMW
http://www.hartge.de/UploadPDF/E70%2...2012350286.pdf

Mine is stock EuroSpec with the M-Sport package. There are a few who have this chip in theirs on some german forums. Though there was some armchair arguing about the gearbox not being able to handle more torque. Most of them though say it can (but with tow weight restriction or whatsoever...) I don't believe it though. I'll dig more into it.

Sam,
