Clutch/Header INDI in San Diego area?

Anyone recommend an INDI for a clutch (and maybe headers) install in the near future?

Thanks in advance.

I've been using Apex Motorsports aka SDPE for 3 years now, and I've had zero issues. Ben Flores, owner and head tech, owns a NICE red E34 M5 dropped on black Kinesis wheels, so he knows our cars pretty well. He's a thorough and meticulous guy. Provides me with drop off and pick up from work while my car is in his hands...

Here's his website: Welcome to SDPE and APEX Engineering

Thanks,
Thinking about getting my clutch done same time as header install so as to save on labor.
Question is...to ESS SC or SS headers with my tax return, albeit plus 6 months of saving if i go SC.

Another option is All German Auto in Escondido. The owner, Martin, knows everything about E39 M5's. Do a search and you'll find a lot more info.

SS header is about 1/3 a way to cheapest ESS SC kit. Why not just go ESS SC

Smog.

Headers I feel are way easier to hide and sneak by an inspection. SC only has 2 options: Remove and replace for inspections, or, find a smog guy that will overlook the inspection and pass on emissions.

Trust me, I'd rather have the ESS now that its been a tested and proven kit. Maybe I'll plan it so I get one installed right after an inspection and worry about smog 2 yrs after that
