NorCal BBQ/Picnic Meet - Sat May 23rd

Hi Everyone,

Per previous discussions with some of the NorCal members, I've decided to hold the next NorCal meet on Sat May 23rd at Vasona Lake County Park in Los Gatos. We will have a bbq/picnic and invite all members to bring their families. I know some folks have significant others who just can't understand our obsession with our cars and this forum but this will give them the opportunity to meet the wonderful people we've met on this board who have essentially become our friends and extended families.

It's on 333 Blossom Hill Rd near the Lark Ave exit off Hwy 17.

Besides for the picnic area that can accommodate up to 100 people, the park has many other activities for the whole family including paddle boat rentals, fishing for Black Bass, Crappie, Catfish and Blue Gill, hiking and biking trails, plenty of space for sport activities. The adjacent Oak Meadow Park also has a carousel and miniature railroad.

Tentative Agenda:

1) 11:00AM: Meet at Blossom Valley picnic area (see location on map below).

2) 11:30AM: Spirited drive through Bear Creek Mountain Rd - Hwy 9.
- Those who don't want to go on the drive can hang out at the picnic spot.

3) 12:30PM: Meet back at picnic area to BBQ

4) 1:00PM-4:30PM: Jumper will be set up for some family fun

5) We will also have a person from Dent Wizard at the meet to do dent removals for $20-$40 a panel. PLEASE PM ME SEPARATELY IF YOU'RE INTERESTED SO I CAN GET THEM A LIST.

It's probably gonna be about an hour. You can map it to the address I have listed above to get a better idea. And yes, it is on Memorial Day Weekend so if you have no plans, come join us.

BTW, I didn't write much about it on the first post but some of us are chipping in for a 4-in-1 combo jumper for the kids. It'll be there from 1-4:30PM. Again, I'm trying to make this a family oriented event so please bring your kids out. There are lots of activities at that park for everyone to enjoy.
