I forget to check this post when the replys don't hit my email but I'm glad I checked in.

Anyone have an extra helmet?

Brian,
Let me know if you come up with any stock E39 tires. 275/35/18. A friend of mine told me about a good used tire place in East Atl but I can't remember the name of the top of my head but I'll find out.

Alex,
Can you change tires at your shop?

Thanks,
Charles
Charles, you are better off going to the dealer or butler tire to change the tires, my machine only goes up to 17" wheels.

Can't wait! Should I just go a head and use the tires on my car? Not sure how much life they have left??

Yesterday me and Keith had some fun. We put on a little show for some I-24 travelers in our blacked out M6s, haha. We did a BMW fun run up to to TN from AL which was fun.

That was the first time I really got to see another M6 and hear someone elses RPI exhaust. It sounds just amazing. When Keith down shifts and the exhaust rips through the air it is just pure insanity! I have some videos I will upload today.

Yeah Dustin, that was a blast! Same boat....never been around another M6 on the road. When you were in front of me, I could hear your exhaust over mine....pure music to my ears, lol. Can't wait to see the vids

Yeah it isnt the best camera work because well it was Heather doing it, haha. She has a good one of you creeping up behind me. Also has one were we both get on it. I will make sure she gets those uploaded today.

No oil smell today thank god. Guess it was just the oil burning off that had sprayed around.

Track Day Details...

Okay guys,

Sorry for the delay, but the details are coming together nicely. I'm going to put up an official post on the boards tomorrow, but here's the heads up on the highlights so far:

Track day fee is $120 per person (even if sharing a car)
Deposits are $50 and can be made in cash at Sun Tinting or PayPal to my email address (send me a PM for details)
Deposits are due by 12/21 to ensure you have a spot reserved
Planning to meet around 6:30 am on 12/28 at the QT at 291 SIX FLAGS DR., AUSTELL, GA 30168 to caravan over to the track
Helmets are required (motorcycle min.) We are trying to workout a group buy for SA2010 helmets from a local sponsor
Lunch and beverages will be provided by M-Atlanta at the track
A photo CD will be offered after the event by Elijah Sumrall Automotive Media Network (price TBD)
Track session is 8 - 5 pm
We will try to assist with getting tires mounted prior to leaving for the track

More details will be posted tomorrow with the official flyer on M5Board, MFest, and atlbimmers blog sites.

Anthony, PM me your paypal info as well, if you don't mind.

How many run groups will there be? Any idea how long each session will last? I guess it will depend on how many people sign up.

Thanks,

Keith
