Guys,

I guarantee there will be more people that show up. I know of two e46s that are coming and a e92 so our group may grow to more than 10 people. I only put our members that have confirmed. I don't have a response from the majority so I have no idea what the turnout will be. Either way, it's going to be fun with 5 or 50 people. I also have a great scouting report from Charles. He's up there right now on some of the bike trails near Deal's Gap. He outlined all the speed trap locations. Elijah is riding shotgun with me so we can run scout for everyone with the information I have. I'll get you guys copies too just in case we get a little separated during the run.

Alex,

Would be very very cool if you could make it. Bring your girlfriend too. She'd really enjoy the drive.

Hopefully, the trophy will be full of cash to pay off the tickets. We'll also be giving away one certified GET-OUT-OF-JAIL for free card!!!!

You guys know they really have those, right? If you're a AAA member they send you a bond card with a value of something like $40K. It absolutely works, especially in places like Gastonia, NC, where they take you to court and book you the same day they give you the speeding ticket. Ask me how I know

It was in my younger, stupider days... I was bringing my RX-7 back from Peter Farrell Supercars in Manassas, VA. I was doing 85 in a 45 MPH construction zone. Ticket was like $400 and I had to leave them my license. Not sure if they still do it like that, but they took it since I was out-of-state and said they'd mail it back once they confirmed the ticket was reported to GA.

Yeah I got pulled over when I was like 17 or 18 going 99 in a 60. I had to drive back down for court in South GA. Luckily the judge was really cool and told me he would let me off the hook if I wrote a 3 page paper, why speeding was dangerous......
