Central Florida BMW's 5th annual Poker Run 6/6/09

Well the time has finally arrived! It is time to gear up for the 5th Annual CFBMW Poker Run!

Over 90 cars participated last year and we had over 100 people in attendance!
JUNE 6TH, 2009

CFBMW.ORG and Russell Home for Atypical Children has paired up together to produce what is expected to be CFBMW's biggest Poker Run yet! This is the second time that the poker run will be pairing up with a charity. The Russell Home for Atypical Children in South Orlando has been in continuous operation for over 50 years without any government support. The Russell Home is the only private, non-profit facility of its kind for severely handicapped children in Central Florida. So, lets get together and try to raise the most money we can for such a great cause. We will be taking donations at the event and your donations are 100% tax-deductible!!

Meet at Bagel Bagel Cafe
4498 N Alafaya Trl
Orlando, FL 32826
(321) 235-1000‎

What is a poker run?

Simply put, you start at a given destination, and receive a playing card. . .you then proceed to 4 more locations and will receive a playing card in an envelope at each location; the best 3 poker hands at the final destination will win a prize!! At each location there will be a prize drawing as well for the participants in the poker run. There will be sponsored giveaways and some freebies and coupons as well!

What time and what date is the poker run?

Mark your calenders now - the poker run is on Saturday, June 6th. We are meeting at Bagel Bagel Cafe in Orlando at 9AM.

We will be having dinner at the final destination at the end of the poker run, which is where all the hands will be judged, as well as some final prize drawings as well! As a heads up, the average price of a dinner will be about $20, so please bring cash!

Sounds great! Where do I sign up and how much is this gonna cost me to run?

Like all CFBMW events, this is no exception; it is totally free to participate in the poker run! Since, this again, we are pairing up with a charity, we would love for you to come with open hearts and donate freely to the Russell Home. Your donations are 100% Tax Deductible. The prize drawing will be an optional $5 per entry(raffle ticket), but is not at all required to run!!

It is time to start the list. . .let us know if you are coming and who you are bringing with you, so we can make sure to prepare the ending location for the amount of people we will have.

Thanks Sheik! For putting together an awesome event. Your dry run of the course was a little costly and despite my crack up at Lakeside vineyards it was a lot of fun. My girlfriend hadn't truly experienced the M5 until yesterday, now she knows, "the rest of the story"!

Prost!! Keith
