New to Atl region

Hi to all the SE forum members. I just relocated to the Atlanta area from Denver, and looking for advice on good indy shops and places to buy parts.

Also looking for advice on good areas to buy a house, and what areas to avoid! My work is right by the 75/285 interchange between Marietta and Dunwoody.

Thanks for the help

Considering your work location, you would do well living anywhere from Smyrna/Vinings to the East Cobb/Marietta area. One thing to keep in mind, the housing costs drop very quickly once you go outside of the perimeter (I-285). My house would almost double in price if I moved maybe 5 miles further east.
