I am in chicago but I am interested in an M5 in the houston area. Is there someone familiar with M5s that has some free time to take a look at the car? I can compensate you for your trouble. thanks in advance for the help!

Which model Tim? If it is an e39 I might be able to help (assuming it isn't miles away)

Hi Ash,

It is an E39. 2001 M5 in Sugar land Tx which looks to be south west of Houston per Google maps. How much would you charge to take a look at it? it has 30k on it, and its the original owner. It should be a pretty nice car. Just curious about whats gonna hit me in the next 12 months or so on it, and any other issues that might impact the price.

Is the owner a member here? I know of one E39 M5 owner I've met up with a number of times that's a member here too. What color car is it?

Its a lemans blue. I dont know if he is a member. I sort of doubt it, but I really dont know.

Ya, that's one of the most common colors, so who knows if he/she is a member here. I'm a fair bit from SW Houston, so that'd be a drive. I'm also not familiar with the E39 - never driven one. Did you post this in the E39 portion of this board?
