Coffee & Cars

Audemars,
I went to the Coffee and Cars gathering on Aug.1st. It was awesome! Some really amazing cars and great variety - old and new - from the UK, Germany, Italy and the US. Not that many BMWs, but I brought my '74 3.0 CS. I saw a couple of 3-series (335i + M3). It would be nice to see some M5s there too!

It was great meeting everyone! Helpful bunch that's for sure.
Thanks to Ash for organizing the shindig, and run flat tires for making it possible for me, hehe.

Seisup,

Here's a link: Houston Coffee And Cars
The timing for the next gathering has not been updated on the web isite, but it's from 08:30 until 10:30 the first Saturday of the month. Take a look at some of the pictures on the web site, and you'll get a taste of the fantastic cars on display there.

Then there's the Toad Club at Richmond Arms every third Wednesday night of the month: The Richmond Arms - Toad Club

And the "Niftee50ees" in the Kroger parking lot every saturday night at Spring Cypress & Champions Forest Dr.
Mostly American cars and ONLY older cars ('80 and older), but impressive turn-out. No "discrimination" against my '74 3.0 CS - we were welcom to park it inbetween all the US muscle cars. Not a single M5 in sight though....

Tor...thanks for the info my man...I have heard about the Niftee50ees gathering before, might have to check that one out. American muscle is my upbringing so I would dig that. I will look into the others as well...
