Possible meet in Austin, TX?

Hello guys,
I was just wondering if there's any interest in a local meet between M cars where we can talk about cars, and maybe go for a drive later ?
Thanks

I'm up for it. Where are you located? I'm in Steiner Ranch. There are actually a couple of M5 owners I see putzing around in Steiner. StreetKing lives just round the corner as well.

If we wanted to arrange some track time, I could see about setting aside some time at Harris Hill Road. There may be a fee for them to let us do that.

I'm in downtown Austin, I see a lot of M's roaming around town and thought it would be nice if we have a meet. I'm up for anything, just wanted to know if there was any interest from people.

If you wouldn't mind a Houston area guy participating, I'd be up for the drive. It would be awesome to let the M5 run on the twisty hills around Austin, much less possible track time.

Count me in as another from Houston, the drive on I-10 is perfect for reaching those autobahn speeds. ;-) I think beckel would also be up for it... he's in NW Austin.

Count me in! I am actually only 10 minutes from Steiner Ranch - In Lakeway. Matter of fact, my daughter goes to preschool in Steiner so I am probably one of the guys you have seen tooling around. My M5 is white with M6 wheels...

Small world. Both my boys go there too. I think I may have seen your car pulled in there once or twice. M6 wheels. Mmm, tasty.

Works for me.

Also, I'm happy to look into getting the track time organized. The cheapest option would be to set aside half a day on a Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday. If there were a time we could all agree to, I'd need a pretty accurate headcount to see what kind of rate I could negotiate. If there's only a few of us, I might be able to talk them into letting us run for free, as a business development exercise.

I run out at Harris Hill Road (Harris Hill Road), which is near San Marcos. If we have anyone from San Antonio, it's a convenient location as well. Fun track, great staff, very few places where going off is high-risk for damage or injury.
