The second annual AUTUMNBAHN European Auto Show is brought to you by the most influential European car clubs in Texas. This is the 3 Day Event that all European car enthusiasts have been looking forward to!
Proceeds from the AutumnBahn European Auto Show will be donated to Texas Children’s Hospital.

Getting There: From I-10 West, take Highway 6 north for about 1-1/2 miles. Turn right on Patterson Road, then left on Abercrombie Street. The ranch is adjacent to the southwest corner of Bear Creek Pioneers Park.

This is a chance for all the AutumnBahn vendors, participants, and sponsors to get to mingle & network, and enjoy a night out in one of Houston's coolest night clubs!

GOAL AND OBJECTIVE:
Our goal is to raise and donate money from this event to help heal sick children in our community. Especially to those who lack the resources to meet their financial obligations for their medical needs.

EVENTS:
AUTUMNBAHN offers its participants the BEST weekend experience possible. Last year, our V.I.P. Pre-Party event for our sponsors and vendors was hosted by Lamborghini of Houston. The following day, AutumnBahn coordinators held an indoor F1 – Kart Competition at Track 21 which required European car club members, vendors, and sponsors to show off their racing skills.
The next day at the Main Event, nationwide spectators and participants filled the lot along with classic Euros and brand new European Exotics. During the show, spectators were entertained by musical guests and an array of decked out European Cars. An appearance by the Rockets Power Dancers and Houston Grand Prix models made the day more exciting for those who attended.
VitaminWater and Red Bull were also present to hand out complimentary beverages to help cool off show attendees.
AUTUMNBAHN 2008 has separate Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Mini Cooper, Volkswagen, Audi, Saab, Volvo and an open European Exotic judging classes!
This year we added a new category for Full Race Prepped Track Car and Street Class Track Car. For additional information, please check the autumnbahn websites provided on the bottom of this post.

AutumnBahn 2008 is going to promote Texas Track Racing and Auto-X events. We are happy to announce that we have added a new category, "Racing / Track" Car, to be judged at the AutumnBahn European Auto Show. We will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies to the best representation of race prepped european automobiles. These automobiles will be judged differently than the show cars.

To qualify for this class, you must also bring 2 or more pictures of your car at a race or auto-x events.

U, With hurricane Ike pretty much tearing everything up in and around NASA and that area is expecting to be without power, is this event going to be postponed?

We regret to inform you that AutumnBahn 2008 has been POSTPONED. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, namely Hurricane IKE and the resulting widespread devastation, we are changing the date of the show. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who have been affected by this storm. At this point in time, we have been unable to confirm a new date with our preferred location at Houston Farm & Ranch due to tree damage and power outages.

Currently, much of the Houston/Galveston and surrounding communities are still without electricity (1.12 million), phone service, or water. Many have suffered damages to homes, cars, and businesses and are just now returning to work. Our first priority is to be sensitive to the community and to provide all of our members, vendors, and sponsors an appropriate amount of time for recovery and rebuilding.

Our NEW tentative date for AutumnBahn 2008 is November 2nd. We intend to ensure a successful show for all participants and to benefit a wonderful cause, Texas Children’s Hospital.

Again, our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you who have been affected by Hurricane IKE. We will keep you updated as soon as we have a confirmation.
