Washington DC area M5/M6 Owners Meet & Drive Part III **Sat, Aug 4**

All,

It's that time of year again where I've gotten the itch to have a meet and drive for us M5/M6 owners in the DC area. Due to time constraints for me and work, I'll be doing the same route as last year.

This event has been scheduled for Saturday, 4 Aug.

If there is bad weather, alternate date is Sunday, 5 Aug

This will be a one day affair, that will probably last approx 4-5 hours.

We will meet at 0900 am at Fairfax Corner Shopping Center (across from the Fair Oaks mall)
at the parking lot adjacent to the Rave Fairfax Corner Movie Theater (western side)

meet/start point address:
Rave Fairfax Corner 14
11900 Palace Way
Fairfax, VA, 22030

From the start point, we will depart 0915 am and head out west on I-66 towards Front Royal. We will make a pit stop at the Apple House to grab some coffee/doughnuts and to top off on gas (for those that need it). The Apple House is very well renowned for their doughnuts and I highly recommend getting some!

The Apple House
4675 John Marshall Hwy
Linden, Virginia 22642

After the Apple House, we will once again make our way to I-66 heading West, the onto I-81 South. Then we will break off for some back country roads in the Shenandoah valley into W. Virginia. We will stop for lunch in Wardensville, W. VA at the Lost River Brewing Company and to top off on gas again.

address:
Lost River Brewing Company
155 West Main Street
Wardensville, WV 26851

(If it's closed, then we'll just buy snacks at the gas station down the street)

From there we will make our way back through more back roads, stop at Loves Truck stop for the end-point, and then everyone can be on their merry way!

Route:
Skyline Run III - Google Maps

**This event is intended for a focused group of M5/M6 owners. It is rare that we all get together, or even see other M5/M6 all together in one place. However, exceptions can be made but would like that to be limited and keep it special for us. Just let me know in advance.

**disclaimer: Driving will be brisk on the back roads, but safety is paramount!**

**Make sure your tires have air and enough tread on them, and bring a qt of 10w/60 oil as a spare - just in case**

**I recommend you leave DSC ON...**

**PLEASE RSVP BY ADDING YOUR NAME TO THE LIST**

Here are some quick references for meet points:

Nice man! Loved the video you did last year. Hope it goes awesome man. I'm doing the same kind of thing hosting a massive meet/run out here in Southern California on Jul 28th. We'll try to represent hard and push the East Coast crew. Near 30 ///Ms have already signed up. It's gonna be epic. All info in the west regional forum SoCal Palomar Mtn run.

Put me down as a maybe, will likely end up being a game time decision based on how the babies are doing that morning.
