Any place to squeeze a former M5 brother? (turned RS4 Rogue ) See some friends and would be good to catch up. If BMW is a prerequisite, I can take the 135i, but careful, it's chipped and puts more whp than a stock E39 M5

does your RS4 have a roof rack? I've seen an RS4 in Montclair area.

No roof rack here, though looking for one for this winter's ski season! LOL
nice looking car, think it could keep pace with the s62?
Thx.
Against my modded M5, it was marginally slower on a straightaway at top speed. 0-60 it is much faster than the E39 due to the AWD (4.6 vs 4.9 secs) which becomes a detriment at higher speeds. A stock M5 would be neck and neck (RS4 is rated at 420hp but has higher drivetrain loss due to the AWD system), so they put down about the same wheel hp (330ish) and are roughly the same weight. Modded M5 like my old one would prevail on a straightaway by less than a car length (but it will be ever so slightly pulling away), but wouldn't stand a chance on a curvy road (keeping driver factor equal of course). Recall that the RS4 had the fastest time on the Nurburgring for a 4-door production sedan for a couple of years (beaten by the CTS-V unofficially on non-production tires, and now Panamera Turbo). The RS4's time was better than even the E60 M5's (which would smoke it on a straightaway of course). It's all about balance vs. straight line acceleration, one of the main reasons I got it. Otherwise lets face it - we'll all be driving an Ariel Atom! LOL
