Shops around NYC/Nassau County

Live in Astoria, work in Uniondale, Nassau County (across the coliseum).

Got an E39 M5 that I need some work on (thread on that here).

Asked a while back on the general E39 forum (was drunk that night and did not think of regional forum) for a recommendation on indys/indies.

Currently I have:

TKX Performance in Huntington L.I.
Motor Works West in Wyckoff, N.J
Bimmer Clinic in Elizabeth, N.J.
Maximum PSI in Linden, N.J.

While I am willing to go a little out of the way to get my baby serviced correctly, I also have quite a busy schedule. So while I am willing to go to any of these places (based on good recommendations), I still wouldn't mind something a little bit more convenient.

The shop must do good work, reasonable prices (don't need to be the cheapest, but reasonable), and willing to use my parts (at least on occassion) or give VERY reasonable prices on parts compared to what you can get on the internet.

I've tried several local shops, and would recommend Autobahn in Harlem: ask for Stephan, tell him Larry with the M5 sent you, but ask if he'll perform the services you require 212-289-5800. Reasonably priced, detailed work. Example: oil change for a little over 100 bucks with bmw synthetic. Located on Park Ave around 122nd St.

Motor Works West

Motor Works West recently severed the working relationship they had with their shop foreman and senior Dinan technician. It's also rumored that the business is being sold. While I'm sure that they still have certified BMW techs, clearly they are not the shop they once were.
