Looking for a new mechanic in Northern Va

Bought an '02 M5 and now i'm not entirely sure where to take it. I've heard good and bad things about most of the Dealers around here. Normally, i'd do most of the work myself and take what i couldn't do to an independent shop, however i wouldn't mind getting the pixel fix done, and my understanding is that you really do have to have a good report with your local dealer.

I'm about due for inspection I and while i can do some of the work in there myself, i'd still like to go ahead and get it done. Any suggestions? Anyone have any luck with Martin Motorsport?

Thanks in advance.

Rob

If you are in Alexandria, the local CCA chapter guys recommend Martin's on Pickett Street. I tried booking my car in, but they have to keep the car all day for even doing 1 hour inspection. I am taking my car to Road Race Technologies in Dulles for some suspension work this week.

Here is a link to NCCBMWCCA's local shop list:

I haven't been to the DIY session, yet. I thought about it, but just haven't gotten around to it. I think they are pretty popular, from what I have read on the chapter news letter. I am going to the M Club day at the factory next week, though.
