Don't you hate it when you race a Lotus Elise but run into traffic before you get a chance to blow it away... I was behind him at a light getting off of the highway and by the time I blew around him, red light. I guess he got lucky this time, he didn't have to watch his "exotic car" get beat!
So what kind of time frame do I have to get the 240 done before that track meet?

I was told the last week of March will be the first BMW CCA track event of the year, so that gives you about 10 weeks to finish your ride.
Below is a pic of a Silvia 240 that was at the last event of the year I attended...
Hello ladies and gentlemen, it is time to start burning some rubber! The race season is finally here, and we are starting it with a great autocross at a great location. You do not have to be a BMW CCA member to come out! Only $35 for non-members and a little fuel, and it's at Summit Point, WV...one of the nicest tracks in our area. So unless you have a really good excuse, I hope to see you there this Saturday rain or shine. Register via calendar link #1 and feel free to post if you're coming

sweet! so do we just show up? I've been to one that Ferrari hosts but not BMW, would be interested in doing this with you folks!
Hi there! So you can try just showing up, but if it is a BMW car club of america event they really would prefer if you register prior to the event. There is not much to it, just click on the link in the calender below. Sometimes if you show up without registering they might be too full to accept more participants and you'll end up watching...which is fun too.
I have attached some pics from today's Auto-X... if any of you were there you would know what I did with my car

AWESOME I would love to come. It would be great to get a group of DC area cars together so we can drive down to Richmond on the 16th together...much more fun this way
I am definitely not doing the M day in South Carolina! $625 for one day of driving excitement is not my idea of a good investment.
If you are in this area and want to drive down to Richmond on the 16th together, please put your name on this list. We will meet at Tyson's Corner, exact address to be announced.
