I'm up by KCI. What info you looking for? Know of any meets? I used to do some meets with a buddy from s2ki.com I'm hoping to get linked up with some german groups. the rice is fun but gets kind of annoying after awhile.

Junction City here, E39 2000 M5, Silver (the best color!). I just got mine about 2 months ago and am getting ready to do my first oil change (I don't care for the $tealership.....no names mentioned).

You guys going to the BMW KC car club meet at Panera on Shawnee Mission Parkway? I'm wanting to go. Hoping there'll be some more beasts there. November 7th at 8 AM. Kansas City BMW Club I'll be in a '00 Anthracite.

I hate to admit it, but I've never been to one. I've seen the breakfasts and tech-sessions posted in The Milepost. Let me look at my calendar and I'll get back with you. From here, that's a 2 or 2-1/2 hour drive, which isn't a big thing, except I have to leave here at oh-dark-thirty in the morning.

You're looking at it the wrong way. Think of it as an opportunity to drive your beast another time before winter sets in.

I think I'm gonna try and make the Porsche meets on Oct 31st too. They're doing an open house at Aristocrat where they let you "ride/drive" that new 4 door they're unleashing. Then a meet/hour drive to Paola. I'm anxious to see what they mean by "drive." http://www.kcrpca.org/

I'm bailing on the meet tomorrow. I gotta get my jeep setup for winter. Sorry guys. BTW last weekend's events (meet at aristocrat, drive to paola and car show the next day were great. However, not a single other E39 was there and certainly not an m5.

Hey, Guys. I wonder if we could plan a get together of some sort for when the weather turns... I know I'm going to be busy until the holidays and then, I'm not going to have time for anything... So, any ideas on a meet? Location? Let me know, and be safe on slippery roads!
