Am i the only person who owns an m5 in iowa???

Looking to connect with other people who live in Iowa with m5's. I live in Marion outside of Cedar Rapids, but I am moving closer to iowa city over the summer!

I remember a thread somewhere where member MarkQC might have mentioned being in Iowa, but other than that not so sure. Might be not be so many.

I am a just to the east of you though.

Yea ! - - I'm from Iowa, and I have an M5...

(WOW Wi KeD - - what a memory,,, - - I can't even remember where I left my shoes...)

There are a few M cars in Dubuque/Galena/Quad Cities I think, but if I were back there, I'd try to hang with the chi-town crowd - - nice drive...

Next to your thread there's the one by Wi KeD;

Chicagoland Spring meet (2009)

...this crew is pretty cool I think, and its more fun when you have a bunch of M's - - bonus - if wilsodh is there, you'll get to see diablo...

So don't worry ujparise, you're not alone, I'm with you buddy... -uh, more or less. - OK - I'm in Germany, but have a house/relatives in cornfield county... (south of Dubuque)

-BTW - I'll be back there this summer on the 4th of July, and probably going thru M5 withdrawl, so let me know if I need to drive yours to get over it...

.

You know what! I thought that was you. I was about to ask if you were from Madison. I'll have to update my list to include Iowa now. Hmmm... Maybe a road trip could be in the works.

That's a little bit of a change from Madison to the plains of Iowa. Hope all is going well for you. Congratulations on the little bundle of joy!!!!

I hear these little BMWs make great baby gifts! Have to start them early you know.

Of course you'll have to see if the Big Bottle kit option is available and maybe play around with the super hero paint job before it is satisfactory. Depending on what you feed the little one, you may have to experiment with whether you want to keep/remove the charcoal filters.

Haha, I need to get that kind of car for him! We are in Cedar Rapids, IA.....not my favorite place but business is good! I just bought my new 06 m5 off lease. I was going to go to Chicago to buy one...but The guy who had it here locally took real good care of it. He owns a lambo and ferarri. I will post some pics soon, it had 30K....real clean, dealersip couldnt sell it so i got it for 43.9! It has every option except walnut trim and ventilated seats. I bought the extra oil change options..which is a real good deal because they didnt put 2 and 2 together on how much extra the oil change usually costs, got the extra warranty for 4 yrs 48K through fidelity talked them down to 2,500 (from 3,400) I think I got a good deal!
