It is about that time of year. Time for the beasts to come out of hibernation!
I wanted to present another meet opportunity that seems to be brewing pretty well. It is a little over a month away, but it will give everyone an opportunity to wash and detail everything.

Location: Indiana Dunes meet. Looks like there is some interest from the bimmerforums community for a meet here.
I went last year and although it was a bit nippy , it was a good time. The highway presented a good opportunity to open up a bit and the drive wasn't too long (Or maybe the drive wasn't too long because I did open her up. ). I think it would be another good experience. It would be cool to see another one of our caravans tearing through the Midwest (Grand Rapids - 2007, Volo - 2008, Fox Lake - 2008).

Yep, kinda sucks. Thanks to our lovely state not paying my wife since January I am reducing some overhead. Plus, I have now decided to change careers and get another shiny new degree to hang on the wall next to my other one. Yeah me!
So, all of this is assuming the PPI is good (it will be) and that the car is picked up from here on Friday. It will be going to a long-time board member from FL who I am sure will pipe up once everything is all done.
I want to give a resounding thank you to everyone here locally for being a big help and part of my decision to let a Beast own me for a time. I'll post a formal thanks in a general area but you guys, especially Kenny have been the best. Wish me luck and I am sure I'll see you guys around. Next nice car will be a Cayman S with PDK, though!
