Chicago traffic this summer - I-94 (Edens)

Hey,

By now I am sure quite a few of the Chicago folks know about the different seasons (winter and construction), but I thought I would put a post out about the I-94 (Edens). Looks like it is going to be a mess for a while.

Construction started on Edens

This could be painful for a while. May take some extra planning and time for travel.

What gets me about this is, that we still have tons of potholes all over the place that aren't getting fixed. I am thinking that maybe this could have been deverted for a little while to get the rest of the potholes fixed around here. Oh well.

It is like driving on the moon up here. I blew out a sidewall hitting a moderately sized crater the other day. Time for us to put on 15" and some big fat tires! .

I rode my bike to work the other day (when it was warm, kind of) and scared the **** out of myself. I swear I saw a sink hole in the middle of the edens deeper than my bike is tall
