IN Love Again

I just took the Beast out of storage and its winter slumber. Changed the oil, break fluid and flushed the cooling system and this morning drove it to work for the first time since November 10'. I am merging from one freeway to the other and the merge lane is double wide. Well a red mustang decided to gun it and beat me to the merge. As I had plenty of runway you all know what I did. Downshift and bam ! pinned to the seat and just blew past the Mustang. I have not felt that for many months. I am in Love again. Happy Spring !

Tgearman- sorry to hear about the dog fight, ive wanted an Akita for quite some time, and yours are gorgeous! heres a few pics of my little guy (1.5year old Shiba), without a doubt the hardest to train, most stubbern/independant dog ive ever encountered. lucky for me though hes only 40lbs

any issues with training your Akitas?, did you get them locally?

How adorable! One of our neighbors has a fawn colored female - cute as a bug.

We got Hoshi and Mika from a lady in Minneapolis. We picked them out when they were 2-1/2 weeks old. It's an ongoing adventure. Akitas are also extremely strong willed dogs that exhibit behavior more like a wolf than a domestic dog. They have a strong pack mentality and this poses some challenges. They'll never win an obedience title, but they're good enough for the wifey and I.

Thanks for asking - Lisa and I will bring them to an event some time this summer and you can see them for yourself!

Hello,
Introducing myself - bought my 01 Silverstone unseen, it was shipped to me from Portland last December and finally took it out from storage last week. Now dealing with issues of leaking power steering, engine oil leak, Koni FSD's blown. And it's really hard for me to keep it driving smooth, car is very beastly to me, waaaaay different from 540i

I love detailing cars, have pretty big arsenal of cleaning stuff, if anybody need help with detailing, please let me know.

Welcome, Oleg! Follow this thread if you are interested in meeting up with us next time we do meet.

A couple days this week I saw this debadged (anthracite?) M5 on 94/394 west around 6 p.m. Anybody on here?

Sweet! You're a good guy, so we're just looking out for you. Lisa, she's like a mother hen when it comes to people she likes. She saw that pic and immediately started clucking.
