Vegas roadie

I was just outside of Barstow when the drugs began to take hold....er....I mean, I was just outside of Barstow when I bore down on an Imola Red 02'. I gave up trying to communicate with the driver at 100+mph, and drew up a sign that said: "M5BOARD.COM". Perhaps he'll stop by here and I can figure out what it was that he was trying to ask me.

Made the trip in 3hr 24min (with a little help from my new friend), exactly 1 hour faster than Mapquest said it would take. Unfortunately, due to holiday traffic, it took over SEVEN hours getting back.

In case anyone was worried that the Luxor couldn't afford their light bill, sleep easy tonight.

Was it an Imola Red '02 with Dinan wheels and a Dinan badge/exhaust, or an Imola Red '02 with black-centered wheels?

You know...I'm not sure about the wheels. He did have black exhaust tips though. No Dinan badging.

Mapquest is usually an hour or two over speced even at the speed limit.

Might actually be planning a (per mapquest):

Total Est. Time: 21 hours, 35 minutes

Total Est. Distance: 1490.25 miles

roadie to Vegas from Canada for my buddy's stag

Driving round London, you have to add an hour to the route calculation

It assumes that you can drive above 15 mph on major roads - not possible round here.

Now get me on the country roads and that's a different story...

Road trips to France and Scotland planned

Interesting. I only ask because both of the afore-mentioned Imola M5's were at the BMWCCA Driving School @ Buttonwillow Raceway this past weekend.
