Had same problem as you a few years ago. Dealer said my primary cats were bad so they replaced one header and it fixed it. Without warranty it would've been like 3k to 4k

Just a quick question, is distilled water ok? It's pretty much the same as deionized water but processed differently. I couldn't find any deionized water anywhere where I live.

I'm pretty sure its my voltage regulator, but I heard that the alternator comes with a new voltage regulator and is around 300$ at autozone,
so I figure why not just get the whole unit replaced...

Hi guys, I just wanted to get some feedback to see if this was a reasonable price for a complete Alternator install.
My local dealer in Seattle was asking for 1700$ for labor and 1000$ for the part....
