Ironically the car is for some unexplicable...

Thanks for your replies, the odd thing is the car idles well, rev it, its fluffy...... rev it gently and slowly (not snail like) it picks up without hesitation.

We have tested the lamda sensor (O2 sensor), Bentley manual says that it should fluctuate at idle ( 800-950 pm), between 0.2 and 0.8 VDC, this one is occasionally dropping to 0.0 and rising to 0.9...
