Can't get rear shades with lux interior. You can get all black sport and wood was an option. That is the only way to get rear shade if it is important. Good luck on your search.
Regards,
Jerry

You cannot get luxury with shades.

SO,

Consider the all black sports interior, with wood trim, and sun shades.... The look of all black, a tad more interesting seats, and sunshades.

You can also consider the metal look trim, and just swap it out for wood too...

Good luck

Jerry, thank you for this info. I have yet to get an 03 brochure w/ these type of details. I wonder why they didn't offer the rear shade with Lux interior? One thing I still don't understand is why every Lux interior has wood? I am not in favor of wood yet I am unsure if finding a black on black with lux and alum is even possible as I have yet to see one. Thank you for your help.

All the lux interiors came w/ wood trim. As brother Ard stated though you can swap it out (I think is ~1k new) for metal, or even another wood like Birch Anthracite (a non-US option) which is really sharp.

What is it about the luxury that you want?

Just curious.

Lux came with two woods, I think called burl and bruyere. One is more orange and the other is darker. Don't recall which is which.
BMW did not provide alum trim with lux. Not sure why. Not hard to change out and can be acquired on ebay or from folks here who want to switch to wood.
No sunshade with lux (something about harder to fit side shades, I don't think the rear shade was the problem).
For combos and info, take a look here:

Jerry
