Reasons to sell

While I absolutely loved driving the beast for a year, I am considering selling it for three reasons:
- I realized that given college cost increases in the 10+% range per year I need to save up A LOT of money to get my kids through college ($500/kid/month from birth to age 18, this is insane!)
- I need a car that I don't mind driving in the Colorado winter (after seeing my previous car - a GTI - eaten alive by road salt I never, ever drive my beast in snowy weather)
- I don't use all the extra space in the back seat as much as I thought I would today, and I won't need it for the kids for a long time

Accordingly if I sell the car I will get a used 328xi, a G35x or an S4 for now - smaller and not nearly as quick as the M5 but about half the $.

I figured that if I am going to sell the beast it is better not to wait - the fact that the car and the Dinan upgrades are still under warranty is a great insurance policy for the buyer.

Beautiful car

Wow... that car looks great! Wish I was a potential buyer. Family and I are traveling to Avon in a couple of weeks. If I needed another Bimmer, I'd be considering a little CO take home gift for myself.
