M5 3.6 Hartge Bilstein dampers NEW!!

One pair only of BRAND NEW Hartge front dampers for the 3.6 M5. For early cars with the pre 5/90 top mounts but I have a pair of excellent top mounts to use on a later car. These are not standard Boge shocks (a mere £600 the pair + VAT from BMW) and are not standard Bilsteins from the 535i Sport (@450/pair) but are uprated Hartge units for the E34. They are a direct swap for the original inserts and give a noticeably firmer ride. They come complete with the anodised screw collars and 'concertina' dust covers.
New price for these is around £700 a pair if you can get them (you can't). These are £160 a pair still in the box - half the price of one standard Boge shock. With the top mounts £180 plus around 20 quid postage UK MAINLAND ONLY. Sorry but I'm not interested in shipping these outside the UK. I can also fit these if you live anywhere near M1 J28 (Notts).
These will also fit a 3.8 once you have bought a pair of standard E34 strut bodies (around £40 for a scrapyard).

I'm interested - if I read it right, my e34 3.6 (registered 30tyh May 1990)would or would not need the topmount? Either way you've got it covered.

        Paypal okay?
