WTB: E39 M5 Engine / S70 850CSi Engine

Subject says it all. I'm after an S62 (clean and with history, and ancillaries/transmission wouldn't hurt) or an S70 for a project.

Got one in your attic or know of someone who does? Please PM me. Located in north america would be great, but I'll consider stuff in western Europe if you've got it.

kalevera, probably going to be a long hunt, havent seen too many of these available.
Might want to try tracking down a few of the total'd cars to find out where they have gone off too. I dont remember the board members name, but someone wrecked his few weeks ago in Southern Cali, might be able to search the E39 forum for more details.
Best of luck. Mind if I ask what the project is going to be?

Matt

michael, sitting outside most things will look like crap... If you cleaned it who knows what it would look like... with only 40k miles it might be a good find for $7-8k

I'm sure you are right. I was just commenting based upon the picture. I didn't mean anything by it.....
