Custom Painted 2000 M5 74k miles - Feeler

This may seem weird since I just picked the car up just under 2 weeks ago. But figured its worth a shot.
Want to see if anyone is interested in my car, there is one locally for sale that I would prefer to have because of the Dinan mods that are on it (S2).
Quick details are Dinan mufflers, 20" IForged Sprint rims, and custom House of Kolors paintjob.
My story and pictures are available here
My Beast (Quite a few pics)
Only thing it needs is dash pixel repair, which I emailed the BMW lady about and hopefully will get that done (or atleast OK'd) very soon.
Asking price would be $32k with both sets of rims (black-stock rims), could work something out if not interested in both.

I am not selling cause I found some issue with the car or anything like that, just that my heart was set on an S2, and as the link explains, this isnt one...
Anyone wants more info or specific pics let me know.
Matt

Matt,

Why not return it to the owner...

laidback, he doesnt want it back, being difficult about the whole thing. To take legal action is going to cost me $ that I wont get back... Not worth it...
If I can find someone to buy it and get an S2, then , if not then no real biggie. I am very happy with it and love the unique look it offers.

But he mis represented what he sold...so giving him back the car shouldn't be a problem (but on the other hand don't know what you agreed on)...I'm sure there are lawyers on this board that can give you advise...goodluck

Good luck with the resale... If I recall you were on the hunt for an M5 for quite some time. Sorry things were misrepresented on this one. Are you thinking about testing the Ebay waters as well?

Stone, there is an S2 here in Vegas, with angel eyes, widescreen nav, dvd nav, dvd/tv through nav, 55k miles. His price has dropped since I orignally inquired, so wouldnt mind taking the step up to that, had I know about it a week prior, and had I known about what my car actually had, I would have gone the local S2 route...

Matt,
I would look into returning it to the seller, there may be a legal loop hole.

If you you will most likely take a lose on the car just to try and get rid of it.

good luck

Matt,

You better get rid of the car soon. The longer the masses (ie., public forum) is stewing over the issue with your car (ie., misrepresentation from your Seller) the more people became more curious as if there is anything else, real or otherwise.

If I am in your shoes, I will make your Seller regrets he ever sell his car to me "mis-represented". If I am going to loose money over the car, I will make sure he will loose some too over legal defense fees.
