Did anyone else see the UK ebay auction for this car? It was anthracite grey with black interior. Listed as a 94 with the 4.0 alusil motor. It was on for about 3 days and then the auction was pulled with no explanation just a couple days ago. From Southampton if I remember it right.

That's a 1 in 62 rarity

just checking for a friend.

I saw it - starnge there's no history of the auction - I had my own immaculate 540i/6 Touring trashed recently but just replaced it with an M5 Touring

BH15070, and apparently it has been classified as 'CATEGORY C' - ie, repairable.

Sharkfan; Thank you, do you still own it, or did the insurance company take possession over it? Built October 1995, Model Year 1996 #49/62, last car is BH15083 from May 1996.

Do you run a register for 540i/T ? just wonder as I bought one 2 month ago and saw this tread. If so just let me know, otherwise my apo's to the tread owner

beemerchris; Yes I do, over all the 3203 PS 540i/6 of them the Touring account for 499 LHD + 62 RHD, do you own a Touring?

Yes its a touring indeed.

Last 7digits are BH15009 a 3owner car (I'm the 3rd) will get it washed and take some pictures today. Didn't know that this car is so rare only 60something RHD's

I thought I get it because there are plenty around LOL.

I thought the same about mine (797 Limo LHD) good there is plenty of other versions of the 540i E34.
