I got the opportuntity to purchase on of the DCshoes 1 of 3 WRX STI's. Its kinda crazy.. but the owner is my boss and is selling it to me pretty cheap considering what is done to it. Its basically a street legal rally car. I figure it would be a pretty fun daily driver. Especially in our Michigan winters. The M3 is always parked for the winter... along side my M5... and I share the truck with my lady.... so there you have it.

Josh, can you ask Ken nicely that if he does that he should donate the pink/white car to my girlfriend? :p She deserves it, she's a Subaru-aholic. See this thread:

Girlfriend is E39 M5 certified...

Seriously though, it's weird you mention this because I was on DCShoes the other day and saw a promotion for a contest to win one of the 3 cars from DC/HIN. I signed up, but never received a confirmation email. Then I went back the next day and the promotion was gone. Did it end? Was it a glitch?

Also, are you rocking the 20-94's yet? Are you going to? $300 seems a bit steep, but they look kinda cool.

Lastly, free bump.

I think the contest is still happening. I haven't heard anything different. Good luck with that.

Ken races the other one. He somehow manages to do REALLY well. Last year he was voted "rookie of the year" in the rally races. Im not sure if its SCCA or what, but he and Travis Pastrana are killing it. Both are now fully sponsored by Suburu.

As far as the 20/94's go.... they supposedly saved me a pair... but i haven't seen them yet. I probably won't wear them. I went to the 20/94 release party in New York last week. It was pretty cool. Some NBA players were there. Crazy scene... Skateboarders and NBA players partying together. This world is getting confused i think.

Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on Ken's escapades. He's doing awesome. Good article about him in C16/Autostyle a couple months ago, too. My buddy is in IT over at DCShoes (just started a few months ago) and said he will try to get Ken to come to our Thursday night "guys night", where a bunch of my car buddies and I get together and play racing video games/watch car tv shows on TIVO/generally talk crap.

Skateboarders and NBA players huh? Interesting mix. I can't wear a ball cap without bending the brim (yeah, at 21 years old I'm that old school), and I'd hate to bend the brim on that 20/94 piece. Plus the shoes are just So-So to me. But it's a cool concept, since New Era/59-50 makes a top quality cap.

BTW, interesting note: I'm posting this from 33,000 feet on a Lufthansa flight from LAX to Munich. Just over $25 bought me wireless internet access for the whole flight. Awesome eh?

Internet on a plane = Boeing Connexion. Being phased out though, apparently because of "not enough interest". Sucks.

It's great for me since I can't take sleeping pills...they just don't agree with me. Tried Ambien once...never again.

That CLS is effing insane. Next time you email him, would you mind asking if he'd be willing to let me take a look at it sometime? I'd love to see it in person and maybe snap a few photos...hell, that's something I'd borrow the company's 22 megapixel camera for.

Wait, wasn't this a thread about selling your E46? :p

Got any more pics? Has been a dream of mine to paint my M5 flat black.
