I would like to see what the OE forged markings on the M5 wheels look like. Can you take a close up picture of the inside center hub of the OE wheels and sent it? I'm holding on to a set of wheels I bought on e-bay but suspect they are replicas.

thanks

Did you purchase your chromed set from some seller in Chatsworth ? I saw a a chromed set on Ebay before and went up to Chatsworth to check them out. The stampings on the back are totally different than the OEM ones.

No - I got these from an outfit in Atlanta called Ross Racing who represented the wheels as factory originals (OE) on the ebay sale. They took the wheels of some other guy's M5 so they think they sold me the real thing. When I received the wheels I don't see any BMW stampings on them. It's been very frustrating convincing these guys they sold me knock-offs.

I went to the CREVIER to snap some pictures of factory originals but they are out of stock of the M5 factory wheels
So now I'm looking for help with evidence showing the markings on the OE wheels so I can get these returned.

If you can get me a picture of the inside center of the OE rims you have I would be much appreciated. I would like to be able to read the markings all around.

Thanks

I'm located in Montebello ( San Gabriel Area). I have one pc Front OEM wheel left. I'll try to take some pic for you. You can come by too if you want to.

Check my old FS thread here:

(4) Brand New *REAR* E39 M5 Wheels--OEM (Northern CA)

It clearly shows the stampings. (OEM Brand new wheels from the dealer)
